Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you really have indoor pools for dogs?

    • Yes, the dogs love them!

  • What's required to visit or to join as a member?

  • Can my dog swim?

    • Most dogs are natural swimmers, we provide free life vests if needed. We also have small wading pools

  • What if my dog hates water?

    • We provide a safe off-leash indoor dog park environment with lots of dog toys to run around and play with. Compared to a public dog park, we require all dogs to be vaccinated, free of fleas or ticks and be social with other dogs.

    • We have excellent coffee and you can meet and connect with other dog lovers like yourself.

  • Pools

    • How big are the pools?

      • We have two 24ft x 12ft x 4ft deep saltwater pools and another wade pool for smaller dogs

    • Are the pools heated?

      • The pools are in room temperature around 67F / 19C

    • How do the dogs access the pools?

      • We have stairs to access the pools and we’re adding ramps very soon

    • How do you keep the pools clean?

      • The pools are sanitized by saltwater with a small amount of chlorine generated from the salt. The salt concentration is around 100 times less than the ocean. This type of pool is healthier for the dogs’ skin than typical chlorine treated pool water.

      • The pools are filtered every night through a sand filter, automatic pool cleaning robot and we also clean them manually.

      • Can I swim together with my dog?

        • The pools are for dogs only, we are not allowed to have humans inside the pools for safety reasons.

      • How do I dry my dog after swimming?

        • We have washing / drying area that is included with the park / pools pass. We provide towels and electric dyers to dry your dog.

  • Do you restrict some dog breeds?

    • No, all dogs are welcome as long as they comply with our club rules

  • Is there a time limit for a visit?

    • You can stay as long as you’re having fun :)

  • Are all vaccination required?

    • Yes, for the safety of all the dogs and humans, proof of current vaccinations for Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP are required to enter the dog park and pools. Your dog can still get coffee or use the washing/drying facilities if not vaccinated.

  • Why do you require Bordetella?

    • Bordetella bronchiseptica is the most common strain of kennel cough. Kennel cough is one of the most common illnesses in dogs. It is most commonly spread through public dog spaces as it is highly contagious. While Kennel cough itself is not fatal, it can lead to fatal infections in puppies and in senior or immunocompromised dogs.
